Make tweets by Chuck Baggett appear in search results again.

I first reported the problem of tweets missing from search results in 2019, three years ago.

There was a problem back then that resulted in my account being suspended. I supplied what @TwitterSupport wanted and my account was unsuspended. A few months after my account was unsuspended, I noticed my tweets prior to these events were no longer visible in search. I think they should have been, both from a moral or ethical point of view, and I suspect normal procedure in that situation includes restoration of all old tweets to visibility in search, but they were not reindexed due to an error, an oversight.

Hello,

We’ve verified the required information you supplied.

You may now log in.

We sincerely appreciate your patience during this process.

Thanks,

A few months later in 2019 I contacted Twitter and got the first of years worth of unhelpful boilerplate responses from Twitter. Here's the latest such reply:

Hello @chuckbaggett,

Thank you for taking your time to message us regarding your account (@chuckbaggett) and we're sorry to hear that your Tweets are not showing in Search. We do have more information for you.

Sometimes, we will take action on an account based on behaviors that create a negative impact on Twitter. This can include interactions with other accounts, Tweeting inappropriate content, or a variety of other violations of our rules.

As a result, the visibility of these accounts may be affected. We have more information available on the Twitter blog, and our Help Center.

For most accounts, this is a temporary outcome, and if no further negative behavior occurs, the account will eventually be restored to full access and visibility.

Let us know if you have any more questions, or follow us @TwitterSupport for the latest updates.

Thanks,

Clyde

Here's my reply to Twitter:

The reason you can't point to a problem with my tweets' content is that there is no problematic content to point to. This has happened due to a procedural error on Twitter's part, an innocent mistake on the part of an employee.

Please take this opportunity to, like the TRON guy, fight for the users. For this user.

Sincerely, Chuck Baggett

I am 67 and have cancer. I don't have forever to wait to make my tweets visible in search. Death is likely to get me before Twitter helps me, unless there some personal contact between me and an appropriate Twitter employee, or someone who reads my online writing. Maybe you, rare reader who knows Twitter workers, could be that person who joins the TRON guy in fighting for the users.

And if you are not a Twitter employee, or the biggest shareholder at Twitter, ElonMusk, please share this blog post. Thanks.
