This was not a bit of fun. It claims it can't read it's help info and answer basic questions on how to use the TypingMind system.  To some extent, I was playing at being grouchy and unsatisfied with it, but mostly I sincerely aggravated with it, as I have been with every chatbot I have ever interacted with.  

How anyone could think this thing, Bard, ChatGPT, Bing GPT or Bing Chat or whatever it's stupid name is, or anything that keeps saying "As an AI language model" over and over and apologizing endlessly is near to being an AGI and threatening to become sentient and destroy all life escapes me.

They do pose a threat to human life. Interacting with them might make you want to jump off a cliff or jump off an overpass into rush hour traffic. I don't recommend interacting with these obese Eliza's if you drink and there are guns around. 

I did get OpenAI to make Python code to make a spiral staircase in Blender code the other day. And I got one the AI doodads to write a title and chapters and chapter summary for an intentionally bad imaginary novel and got an image generator to make images for it. I think I posted that on this blog and shared a tweet about it and got the usual silence.
