A first try with Perplexity Comet, the AI vibe codable browser.

 I got to try the new programmable AI powered browser Perplexity Comet. 

As what I thought would be a fairly simple task, I asked to make a list of all the X lists that the X @PerplexityComet account is a member of, with links to them, in the order shown on the X page that lists them.

Instead of being able to say "Make me a list of the lists that @PerplexityComet is on, with links to them" and get the desired result efficiently, it turned into an all-nighter project, of failure after failure after failure. 

I was finally able to get a list but it was many times slower than doing it manually, and much more tedious and frustrating. 

Here is the list, which I told it to make in HTML format, and was disappointed to find that it can't save any sort of files except markdown files of the session.  It was unable to paste this page code into an online editor of its choice. 

Undoubtedly there are better ways to get such a list than emulating a user doing it, but that was the best way it and I knew to do so. 

I will paste the code as html here and we'll see what it looks like.

This is not right at all. After hours of miserable struggle, during which time is showed repeatdly it understood the format I wanted, it manage to make a possibly complete list in the sense that it has all the lists listed, but it didn't put links to them. I am flabbergasted and dismayed.  Very very unrewarding. 

Might be user error, but I don't think it's all user error. 

Finally I got a list that might be right. This was not a good introduction to using it.
